A Backstage peak!

Having performed at The Gordon Craig in Stevenage for a number of years, it was very different to perform in such an intimate venue as St Chris' School Theatre, but we loved it!

We really felt 'close' to the audience and although the back stage facilities were limited we made the best of them! We were fortunate with the weather as it meant we could all mingle in the courtyard with dressing rooms around the outside. However, it was important we stayed quiet as sound could travel to the stage!

We also had to keep an eye on what was happening on stage as we couldn't hear them!

The orchestra had their own small, cosy corner to play in!

The camaraderie throughout the whole week was great and everyone was determined to have a great time!

Did you like the venue? Why not let us know.
